Velit Air Heater Does Not Start After Pressing 2S to Start
When I press the button down for 2 seconds the wavy lines come up then go away and the heater does not start.
The first thing to do here is to reset the power to the heater, usually done by removing the fuse. MAKE SURE to remove fuse/power fully for at least 15-30+ seconds to fully reset the heater.
The above should resolve this issue which is actually a safety lockout feature after a fault or an error.
If resetting the power does not work: Go to the SET SYSTEM TIME page on the thermostat controller, usually 4 short clicks in from the main thermostat screen. Do you see a firmware number flashing on that page? If there is no firmware number flashing on the SET SYSTEM TIME page, then you need to do a firmware reflash, which can usually be done through the app, but may require assistance from the Velit Support Team.
If no firmware update is being offered in the velit app settings for the heater - Submit a heater support request ticket.
This can happen due to electrical interference, simply, something happened to the ECU. Usually the ECU is not bad, just needs to be re-flashed. If this problem persists, submit a ticket as mentioned above and we can help further.
