How to use the Velit Air Conditioner Remote Control
How to use the different controls on the infrared remote
The Velit Air Conditioner Remote Control is a short-range, line-of-sight remote. It's used to change settings on your rooftop or underbench Air Conditioner (A/C) without using the buttons on the equipment display. We'll be focusing on two models of remote and how to differentiate them.
The first is the older model, this is compatible with all models except for the "V3" Rooftop model:
On/Off button: Short press to turn on/off the remote (once paired to a unit this also turns off the display but not the equipment) and Long press to turn on/off the display
Mode: Change between modes (also shown on unit display)
Fan: Change fan speed (blinking fan indicator means the fan speed is beingcontrolled by the equipment)
Arrows (up and down): Increase and decrease set temperature in the current mode. The set temperature is the "goal" for your system. Once the space is around that set temperature the system will turn off the compressor to save energy.
ECO: ECO mode (designed to run more efficiently but does not cool as well)
Cool (with Snowflake): Cooling mode, press this first before changing to Sleep, ECO or Turbo
Turbo: Turbo mode (Designed to max out compressor and fan speeds to run at max Cooling at the cost of noise and efficiency)
Lightning Bolt: View Voltage, this is the voltage that your equipment is at.
Clock: Timer, change to control when unit turns off regardless of temperature.
Moon shape: Sleep mode (designed to run more quietly but does not cool as well)
Other buttons not listed are not applicable, this is a general purpose remote.

Circulation Fan (does not remove air from the space):
The new model of remote is the exact same, however it has one difference. Instead of the "O2" button, the new remote has a "Vent" button.
Vent on all models besides V3: Not Applicable
Vent on V3 model equipment: Exhausts air out of the space
