How to replace your rooftop display panel

Tools required: Flathead screwdriver, small pry tool, or putty knife Optional tools: Gloves, needle-nose pliers (for disconnecting the electrical wires from the back of the display. Use this video as a reference:

  1. Find your air distribution box (ADB) inside. It will probably be all black. If you have an older gray air distribution box (ADB) we will also cover that process.
  2. Remove your old display panel. On the black ADB, you'll need to pry loose the small tabe holding your removable intake screen, reach up inside and push your dispaly panel down and out from the box. You might want to wear gloves at this step. For the gray ADB, you'll need to gently pry the display panel loose with your prying tool or putty knife. Avoid gouging the ADB plastic with any tool you use.
  3. Disconnect electrical. Regardless of model, take a picture of the wires and their locations. After taking a picture or making note of the placements, remove all connections from the panel, let the wires stay dangling for now.
  4. Review your new part. Make sure your new part is the same voltage as before. Using your reference photos, reconnect the plastic connectors onto the panel.
  5. Put it back together. Replace the panel back in the orientation you found it. For the black ADB put the removable air intake screen back before operating the system.
  6. Fire it up and test your system! If the issue persists, recheck the connections on the back match your photo and are connected well. If the issue still persists, please fill out a Support Form or reach back out to customer service.
