How hot is the air that is produced by the Velit Gas Diesel Air heaters?

What temperature should we expect the air to be leaving the hot air outlet of the heater?

The air temp will vary depending on various factors. Factors such as thermostat controller mode, ambient temp, fuel type, heater manufacture date, and firmware version for example.

It will also depend on how and where you measure the air temp and the instrument used for measuring the air temp. For example, many temp sensor measure surface temp not air temp.

In general, we see the air temps coming from our heaters around 200 Degrees F.  Or about 93 Degrees C.

It would be normal to see temps up to 250 degrees as well. If you are measuring with a surface air temp sensor, then you could see temps as high as 400 or 450 degrees F if pointing directly at the heat exchanger.

When running on manual mode or at various fan speeds in thermostat mode, the temperature output won't vary too much; rather, the amount of air being pushed out increases or decreases. As to where, when running on manual mode high, the output temp might actually be slightly lower than on manual mode low, as more air is moving over the heat exchanger. It's simply pulling more fuel to compensate for the increase in fan speed to move more air.
