Air conditioner designed noise levels
What decibel level is each operating mode supposed to make?
It's important to plan for appliance noise during a purchase. Some factors that will impact noise beyond the product are insulation between you and the unit (especially for rooftop units), how hot it is, and what mode you're using your air conditioning system in.
For all rooftop models, your system will be about: 50db in Sleep mode, 55db in Eco mode, 60db in Cooling mode and 65db in Turbo mode.
Because the V3 model has a ventilation fan mode, it can sometimes run a little louder than the other rooftop models.
For the 2000U under-bench model, it should be about 45db in Sleep mode, 50db in Eco mode, 55db in Cooling and 60db in Turbo mode.
