Find the extension connector under the front face of the unit
Connect the external control harness (matching the like colors)
Bring the other end through the back of the control panel housing.
Connect wires as shown (purple/green goes to the red connector, red/black goes to the two pins closest to the bottom edge on the 4-pin connector)
Clip the control panel into the housing, the four clips will snap into place
